Poem
Walking to Lauds
sun rising, and
the misty veil lifting
from bare trees.
The Office of Readings has been
done; silence endured, wrestled with,
emerged from.
Through lips comes opened breath
smoke of embers rekindled.
(Written at Worth Abbey)
